McGuire Programme - Success Evaluation Audit 2009

Twice a year, as part of our ongoing quality control, primary coaches submit reports on all their students, Regional Directors (RDs) compile these and send to Dave McGuire. Once a year, Dave assigns Regional Evaluators to verify (audit) the reports by calling the majority of members rated successful by RDs. Any discrepancy is resolved by a third experienced Evaluator.

In 2009 we had, world-wide, 335 new members start their first course. Of those, 255 or 76% were rated as successful. This was an increase over 2008 results (see comparative evaluations below) and a record for the programme internationally.

We also showed a new “regional” record in the Netherlands of 91% (previous year was a dismal 57%). Also noteworthy is the Scandinavian success, under the direction new Regional Director Henrik Thyegesen, of 73% over the previous 56%. Australia and Ireland also showed solid improvement over the previous years.

Since the 2003 evaluation, we tightened the criteria where those who we could not contact (n/c's) were, with a few exceptions, rated as unsuccessful.
