Raising Awareness of Stammering - The King's Speech

Quick Links

Newly released Hollywood blockbuster, The King's Speech, which has opened worldwide to critical acclaim and is tipped for Oscar honours, concerns the terrible struggle George VI had with his stammer when he came to the throne in 1936.

We, at The McGuire Programme, are delighted with the spotlight this has thrown on stuttering/stammering and hope it will greatly heighten the awareness of what we all deal with on a daily basis.
