What do you do when you're feeling completely useless and alone?

It doesn't matter what you do for a living, how many friends you have or how "successful" you may appear to be. We all feel disconnected from time to time. And if we listen to and believe the voice in our head, we can quickly spiral down into loneliness and darkness.

Course report Rotterdam 3-6 September 2014

For this course we had 12 new students (NS) and about 40 grads/coaches came over to attend the Rotterdam course. It was the first time the course was being held in Rotterdam. In combination we also had a staff training for new coaches. The course was run by CI Dave Mannaert and CII Marielle Hali. Course organizer: Bart van den Berg and Frank Loomans. This was Bart’s first time as organizer, he did a very good job. It was nice having the ‘small’ course in comparison with the large ones we had recently. This gave us more time to give attention to the NS to explain.

Course report, June 2014 Nijmegen (The Netherlands)

Nijmegen course, June 2014

Nijmegen course, June 2014

Hello everybody, It is one week after the Nijmegen course, June 2014. I am staying in a very dull Dutch holiday resort, with my girlfriends family. Everybody had left to go to the pool, I stayed at the house to write this course report. There was just one person sitting across to me and it is the girlfriend of Fenneke's older brother. In the last 6 years that I am a part of their family we have seen each other many times, but never had real conversations. She is a covert stammerer and she holds back in groups.

Course report 19-22 March 2014 Eindhoven

Hello everybody, I am writing this course report outside, in the garden. Spring is in the air: the sun is shining, birds are whistling, trees and flowers are growing and people are more happy. Yes it is the season of change. And what a perfect (and obvious) bridge to last week's intensive course in Eindhoven. This course was the second Dutch-only course here in Holland, with all course material in dutch. The Dutch region is still growing fast, due to the success of the tv series Sprakeloos (Speechless).
