We had a fantastic course last week in Reading, welcoming nine new students into the programme. Most of them were of a similar age, and it was inspiring to see how quickly they bonded and supported one another.

With a strong team of dedicated volunteer coaches on hand, the new students were in excellent care. Among them were both covert and overt stutterers, all taking their speech development seriously. They embraced the physical and psychological techniques taught and grew in confidence throughout the course.

The programme was expertly led by the amazing duo Jennifer Vaughan and Matthew Richardson, with Tessa Senior organising the course with great skill and commitment.

As always, the course was not just for newcomers. Many graduates returned—some after a long time away—to revisit the foundations, reflect on their progress, and identify areas to keep improving. This lifelong support is at the heart of what we do.

A big thank you goes to everyone who attended—whether working on their own speech or helping others. We are all in the same boat, moving forward together, and striving to become the best speakers we can be.
