Since joining the McGuire Programme in 2010, I had no idea of the incredible opportunities that would come my way. My initial focus was to get help with my stutter, but what I found was so much more—a community of amazing people who supported, encouraged, and celebrated every new challenge I embraced.

I was no longer the shy, quiet person in the corner who found it difficult to start a conversation. Instead, I began to put myself forward for every speaking opportunity I could find. This transformation has been nothing short of life-changing.

Becoming a coach and instructor allowed me to support others, filling me with immense pride as I watched them fulfil their dreams and conquer their fear of speaking. These experiences have been the highlights of my journey with the McGuire Programme.

Today, I am deeply honoured to take on the role of Regional Director for the Ireland Region of the McGuire Programme. A heartfelt thank you to Joe O’Donnell, who steps down from this role after 23 remarkable years. Joe, you are truly one in a million. Your kindness, support, and unwavering encouragement have changed the lives of so many. As a region, we are profoundly grateful for your commitment and dedication.

As I step into this new role, I am filled with enthusiasm and determination. I am committed to continuing the incredible work Joe has done and to furthering the mission of the McGuire Programme. Together, we will support each other, embrace new challenges, and achieve extraordinary things.
