Gold Coast June 2025, Courage on the Coast!
The McGuire Programme returned to Surfers Paradise in June for another unforgettable course, bringing fresh momentum to the year. Against the backdrop of the iconic Gold Coast skyline and ocean breeze, a small but mighty group of participants came together to challenge their comfort zones and take greater control of their speech.
This course welcomed two brave new students, both under 18, who took their first bold steps toward managing their stutter. Alongside them were two dedicated refreshers, one of whom travelled all the way from Ireland, proving that commitment to progress knows no bounds. Over the course of four transformative days, they were supported by a tight-knit team of graduates, including a strong coaching crew and a course instructor intern making big strides in their own journey.
As always, the course combined the core foundations of the programme, physical techniques, mental discipline, and real-world application, culminating in powerful experiences beyond the classroom. From intensive training sessions to phone calls and street contacts around Surfers Paradise, each participant pushed past their limits with courage and determination.
This course also placed a renewed focus on helping returning members move beyond the common cycle of inconsistency. With tailored coaching, graduates identified specific habits to work on and re-committed to their personal development using the programme’s tools and mindset. Creative workshop formats and a strong emphasis on accountability elevated the experience for everyone involved.
We are proud to share that by the final day, our new members were applying the techniques confidently and speaking with a presence that marked a powerful shift from their first day. It was a powerful four days of growth, grit, and connection, showing once again how the McGuire Programme continues to empower lives.
