Attention stutterers in Sydney – We Are Back!
After a long break due to the covid outbreak thanks to relatively safe environment in Australia, The McGuire Programme ANZ (Australia and New Zealand), had the chance to resume face to face courses.
With some minor adjustments due to COVID-19 and Health and Safety Guidelines, we hired a very large spacious venue and added lots of extra safety precautions.
Stutterers in Sydney working hard on their speech and communication skills.
Six (6) new students, who struggled with stuttering and holding themselves back in life, plus two dozen returning members (also stutterers) came together to work on their speech to go beyond stuttering and improve their quality of life.
We had 3 returning members, who returned for their second course after completing their first course online in January 2021.
Overall the course was a great success.
The venue was brand new, in Sydney CBD with plenty of room. Everyone had the opportunity to learn or refresh their McGuire Techniques and skills as well as undergo some great professional development sessions that were run over the period of the course.
New Students and Returning members had a very productive and enjoyable time, finishing strong, confident and in control of their stutter on Sunday midday.
Our next course will be in held in July 2021, from the 21st – 24th, Live and Online, specifically designed for new students. Places are already filling up fast, so if you are interested – apply asap!
