Beyond Stuttering in Latin America – First Course of 2026!
First course of the year for the Latin American region, for this course we had attendees and participants from different locations: Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, USA.
A very emotional message from a parent at the end of the course was:
“It seems like a miracle, the changes in so few days”.
and his son replied:
“It’s not a miracle, it’s a lot of hard work.”
The new students were very brave in preparing for the start of their journey towards freedom. This course was very emotional because we were able to take moments of virtual conviviality in small groups, interactions to get to know the attendees and another way to practice of the concepts and carrying casual conversations.
In this course our physical day was focused on drilling our basic cycle: Release, Pause, Breathe and Speaking. We reinforce correct pronunciation and articulation, assertive sounds and the management of time pressure. They also worked with gestures and facial expression, including smiling and showing ourselves relaxed. We worked hard into the psychological pieces of our program.
In the blink of an eye, we reached the last day of the course, where all the minutes of practice, all the cancellations, all the basic cycles achieved, all the overkilled sounds, the new smiles and the new attitudes towards the real world are gathered: to be able to make conversations live to strangers! Having new perceptions and positive evidences, to get new beliefs.
Thank you to all the participants, graduates and coaches. Thank you to the members who received the calls from the new students. Every opportunity to practice and do something helps us on this journey.
Thanks to the international organization and Dave McGuire for this great gift. We have a lot to communicate, we have a lot to live.
Keep moving forward!
