Happy to be back – McGuire Programme’s 1st In-Person Course for people who stutter is back with a bang in the UK!

In spite of not having any face-to-face courses for two years, the Bristol course was extremely successful.
My oral thesis presentation was a huge step out of my comfort zone.

Learn how I achieved results by facing my fears of stuttering and expanding my comfort zone

This is a great example of expanding your comfort zone and working with self-acceptance, which I see as some of the key concepts in the work of getting more control of your stuttering. I am very grateful that I chose to join the McGuire Programme and I am really looking forward to the further journey.

This documentary follows four brave stutterers from different backgrounds, the youngest aged just 12 and the oldest 64, on a once-in-a-lifetime make-or-break journey to find their voice. Over four confronting, intensive and emotionally-charged days, the four new students will be pushed to a breaking point.

Our Latest 2nd Stammer ‘Bill Bottle’ Memorial Trophy Award on behalf of the Martin Coombs for people who stutter/stammer.

Martin Coombs always showed courage, bravery and was a winner. He was a member, coach, course instructor and staff trainer on our programme. ‘B’ words and sounds were a huge challenge for Martin so he changes his name to ‘Bill Bottle’ until he had overkilled that fear. Martin embraced and practised all the techniques taught on the programme with a fighting and never give up attitude.
