On the McGuire Programme, we strongly believe in training coaches to the highest standards so they, in turn, can offer world-class support and become a great coach to our members in the programme. Just two weeks ago, we kicked off Staff Training for 13 candidates from 3 different countries, India, the USA, and Canada.

The candidates put in a lot of time and effort, and went through some incredible training sessions, completed numerous tasks and even did a pilot presentation in spite of their busy work schedules. Now, they are well-positioned to be a star coach for their students.

“A good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life” – John Wooden

This would not have been possible if not for the staff trainers who made sure there was no stone unturned and ensured the highest quality of training was maintained.

Kaushik Valluri, Regional Director India/USA/CAN

Side note: John Robert Wooden (October 14, 1910 – June 4, 2010) was an American basketball player and coach. Nicknamed the “Wizard of Westwood,” he won ten National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championships in a 12-year period as head coach for the UCLA Bruins, including a record seven in a row.
